For students of grade 5 this week has begun with an excursion into history. On the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of London I’ve reconstructed sad events of those days. Students with great interest watched the improvised Park Lane Street, listened to quotes from the diary of Samuel Pepys who was an eyewitness and learned about how common disaster can bring people together and give them the strength to fight.
